The Friday Conference Center announces its acceptance into IACC
The International Association of Conference Centers (IACC), which represents small- to medium-sized conference and meeting venues, has welcomed the Friday Conference Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill into full membership. The Friday Conference Center has demonstrated that it meets the stringent global quality standards set by IACC.
To achieve IACC certification, venue members must demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards in design, facilities, services, technology and sustainability, which IACC refers to as Committed to Brilliance. This exclusivity makes IACC’s members part of an elite group representing the most innovative, forward-thinking and results-driven meeting venues in the world.
“We are honored to join this prestigious group of venues committed to the highest level of service,” said Debra Watkins, Director of the Friday Conference Center. “This designation confirms the quality we work toward every day, for each of our clients. As we join IACC’s global family of leading venues, we look forward to the substantial benefits this membership will deliver.”
Mark Cooper, CEO of IACC, said: “The Friday Conference Center has demonstrated unequivocally that it is totally committed to delivering the IACC Meetings Experience, and I am confident it will be a valuable member of the association. By conforming to our global quality standards, the Friday Conference Center has become a venue that meeting planners can confidently trust to look after their meeting.”
